- band art rock, progressive rock, Krautro ck from Germany. The team was founded in 1968 by Reinhold Sobotta (organ), Bernd Koschmidder (bass), Rolf Gurr (saxophone, vocals) and Egon Balder (drums). The bands name was chosen in response t o the papal encyclical Humanae Vitae on the defense of unborn life is issued by Pope Paul VI. The band played mostly instrumental, jazz-rock interpretations of groups such as Brian Auger, Graham Bond.
